Filming TV Shows with O'Neill Williams
Back a few years ago, we were introduced to O'Neill and Gail Williams
The four of us hit off pretty good and became friends. O'Neill is a both a professional hunter and fisherman who has his own hunting and fishing shows on radio and television. If you have not heard or seen his shows, do yourself a favor and tune in. His shows are a lot more then hunting and fishing, O'Neill spends a good part of his air time educating his audience about the sports.
In 2007 O'Neill invited us to be the guest fisher persons on one of his TV shows. The show was to be filmed towards the end of September off the coast of St. Simons Island, Georgia.
A few weeks before the taping Dear Ms. Sandy slipped in our garage, landed wrong and shattered her knee cap. The surgery that put it all back together prohibited her from traveling.
TV and it's schedules being what they are means the show had to go on, therefore Sandy would not be making the trip. So all by himself, Mike flew down and had a wonderful time catching a bunch of small sharks, a few red fish and one heck of a big Jack Crevail.
Once Sandy could walk like a big girl again O'Neill invited us to do another show with him the following January in Titusville, Florida.
We did so well O'Neill invited back to tape 2 more TV shows with Theophile Bourgeois in Barataria, Louisiana. And then another show for trout at the Brigadoon Lodge in Clarkesville, Georgia.
